In Gaga performance, US senator warns against frozen shrimp: "They look like aliens"

US Senator John Kennedy's Gaga performance on Wednesday. The representative from Louisiana first showed a photo of an "alien." Then he explained that Americans could soon look like that if they consume frozen shrimp from foreign countries.
Kennedy literally said: "This is what you might look like if you eat the frozen shrimp imported from foreign countries. Why might you look like the alien from "Alien"? Because the shrimp are radioactive. I'm not kidding."
What's behind this phenomenon? The FDA, the United States Food and Drug Administration , found slightly elevated levels of cesium-137 in shrimp samples from an Indonesian company that sells its products at Walmart. This is a synthetically produced radioactive isotope created by nuclear fission. Due to its long half-life, it often persists in nature.
However, the US Food and Drug Administration website states: "The FDA has not detected levels of Cs-137 in any product that exceed the currently established intervention level [...]. However, the FDA concluded that the level detected in the breaded shrimp sample could pose a potential health risk to persons exposed to this Cs-137 concentration [...] over an extended period of time in combination with radiation present in the environment and other sources such as medical procedures."
The agency therefore recommends that frozen shrimp from this company should no longer be consumed. However, it can be considered unlikely that humans will turn into aliens by consuming the food.
